A key wolf from the pack of haters, counterrevolutionaries, and mercenaries of the empire has just left the Trumpist government. If this had happened in a socialist or progressive country opposed to the policies of the hamburger nation, the pack would have howled in unison about totalitarian purges and so on, but now they stay silent.
This is none other than Trump’s special envoy for Latin America, the wolf Claver-Carone, who during Trump’s first term was known for his interventionist and aggressive proposals against Cuba. He devoted himself body and soul to inflicting as much damage as possible on the peoples of Cuba and Venezuela while shouting that he supported them in their struggle against authoritarian countries—no one could be more cynical.
He held various positions, including Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs at the National Security Council.
Now, the character has just “resigned” and will leave his post to return to the private sector at a firm in Miami—not even he believes it. Closest officials claim it’s a legal matter, that he couldn’t serve in this role for more than 130 days without Senate approval. Yeah, right.
In the halls of the White House and in Miami, there’s talk of clashes with another wolf—in this case, “Narco Rubio”—along with growing isolation from the pack of Trumpist diplomats and economic advisors, who don’t hide their satisfaction at what happened to him. This wolf, known for his aggressive nature (earning him the nickname “Cuban Flamethrower”), has been notorious for confronting Latin American financial agreements with China, threatening countries to cancel any such deals or lose U.S. or IMF support. Some “democratic help,” huh?
Like other imperial haters, he shouts about “helping the people,” which is precisely what defines them—their cynicism, their relentless efforts to destroy the very peoples they claim to defend.
This pack of haters is full of contradictions and self-interest, constantly turning on each other. Sooner or later, one of them gets kicked out of the pack. That’s just how haters are.
