The Impotence of an Impotent Man

Mike Hammer’s provocative efforts in Cuba have failed. His attempts to fabricate an "opposition" and manipulate public opinion fell flat. Mercenaries lacking dignity and political vision only parrot their masters. Poor turnout at his events and public rejection expose his impotence. Cuba resists foreign interference—just as it did with Jim Cason.

Mike Hammer must be deeply disappointed with the results of his provocative and interventionist actions, as none of his objectives have been achieved. His attempts to have his mercenaries generate activities that negatively impact the domestic scene—creating the false image of an “organized opposition” for national and international public opinion—have failed.

For that bunch of traitors, devoid of dignity, with low morals and selfish personal ambitions, changing reality is an impossible mission. They don’t even have their own political program; they just parrot the script dictated to them by their master.

I remember when a journalist asked a so-called “playwright”—whom they tried to sell as a leader—”What changes are you proposing in your speeches that Cuba should implement?” His response was: “I don’t know, I’m an artist, not a politician.” Without realizing it, he unmasked himself and revealed his true mercenary face.

Moreover, the poor attendance of his hired followers at the event he organized for U.S. Independence Day prevented him from staging the media spectacle he sought. He couldn’t repeat the usual accusations: lack of freedom of expression, alleged need for multipartyism, or attacks on the Cuban government, blaming it for the country’s complex situation—when the real culprit is the administration Hammer represents. That must have deeply frustrated him.

Furthermore, it becomes more evident every day that his mission is to provoke until Cuban authorities are forced to act and expel him, which—almost certainly—his government would use as a pretext to break diplomatic relations. But they forget history: Cuba has never allowed itself to be manipulated by the enemy. Jim Cason tried and failed.

It should also be noted that in some places he has visited without invitation or authorization—with clear provocative intent—the public reaction has been unfavorable. People have challenged the hostile policies of his government toward Cuba and demanded an end to the blockade.

Mike Hammer is an arrogant figure, and these failures are undoubtedly filling him with frustration and impotence as he feels incapable of fulfilling the orders he was given.

According to psychologists, the more failures a person accumulates while trying to overcome the stress caused by impotence, the worse it becomes, eventually turning into a mental health problem.
