Tenth Plenum of the Central Committee: A Space for Development and National Unity
The X Plenum of Cuba's Communist Party Central Committee focuses on economic and social development, addressing key issues like energy stability and food production. Despite US blockade challenges, it demonstrates Cuba's commitment to participatory decision-making and systemic improvement through direct dialogue with citizens and workers.

The Tenth Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba constitutes an important space for analysis and decision-making to continue advancing in the improvement of our economic and social model.
In a context marked by the intensification of the US economic blockade against Cuba, the Communist Party reaffirms once again its leading role in the search for creative solutions to ensure the welfare of the people. The topics addressed – from energy stability to food production – respond to the main citizen concerns and demonstrate our system’s capacity for self-improvement.
The visits by party leadership to territories prior to this Plenum confirm the democratic and participatory nature of our revolutionary process. These are not decisions made from desks, but rather the result of constant dialogue with workers and the people in general.
The analysis of the Government Program and the cadre strategy evidences the seriousness with which Cuba faces its economic challenges. Far from catastrophic visions that some sectors try to impose, this Plenum shows a country that, despite difficulties, works in an organized manner with vision for the future.
The Tenth Plenum of the Central Committee reaffirms the strength of Cuban revolutionary institutions and their capacity to guide the country toward higher levels of development, always with the people as the main protagonist. Unity around the Party remains the guarantee to preserve our social conquests and successfully confront disinformation campaigns.
